Take a look inside

One place for your safe space—and the moments in between
We go to therapy hoping it can be a safe space for change. This journal is a companion for your therapy journey–to help you prepare for and reflect on your therapy sessions.
How It Works
-
Mindfully prepare for each session.
Every session entry begins with a mindful check-in to help you prepare. You’ll have access to grounding techniques and guided prompts to reflect on how you’re doing before your therapy session begins.
-
Capture the insights that lead to progress.
Each session entry includes intentional space for session notes and session reflection. As you work through different topics with your therapist, you may have new ways of thinking that you want to capture.
-
Reflect on your week with guided prompts.
Therapy is 1 hour out of our 168-hour week. Each session entry includes a variety of reflection prompts to help you continue processing between sessions and remember what to talk about with your therapist.
-
Set clear goals for therapy.
Set and shift your therapy goal with your therapist every 10 sessions, and monitor your progress and comfort with your therapist.

Made by therapists with decades of experiences
This journal will help you develop a collaborative relationship with your therapist, including preparing for sessions, setting goals for therapy, and celebrating progress.

Recording my thoughts before and after therapy
I think the journal offers a comprehensive way to get started with recording your thought before and after therapy. It provides a big enough space for brief but thoughtful reflection without the temptation of going on a tangent.

Excited for the Therapy Journal to arrive!
After poking around on the website and taking a look at the variety of notebooks, I actually ended up purchasing the Therapy Journal to use alongside with my weekly therapy sessions. I can’t wait for it to arrive!

Being more proactive in my wellness
I’ve been in and out of therapy for years and have had these lulls of not knowing what to explore next, or being overwhelmed and indecisive when selecting the next topic. I’ve also been unaware about the different ways therapy can go or be. Therapy Journal helps me direct my sessions, reminding me there’s so much choice in healing and relationships. The journal encourages me to continue being proactive in taking control of my wellness.

Clarifying why I'm in therapy and how I'm growing
Amidst work, social, and other commitments, therapy is a much needed space to pause and process. But it can feel challenging to transition into and out of that time in an intentional way, because it’s only one hour of time nestled in an otherwise busy week. We often don’t realize how important the pre-session intention setting and post-session reflection are to clarifying why we are in therapy, what we want from it, and how we’re growing. The Therapy Journal allows me to do just that, and it helps to provide much-needed scaffolding that extends beyond that one hour. I often feel like that’s where the real growth is taking place!

Keeping track of what to talk about better
Every time my therapist asks me, "how was your week," it feels like I can't remember anything and we spend several minutes while I recount random little things that happened. Then we only get half the session to actually talk about something that feels meaningful. This book has already helped me keep track better! I can give my highs and lows of the week, and tell my therapist what I most want to focus on, all within a shorter and more focused check-in.
